A perfect pair, pork chops and pears served over rice (or in this case brown rice mixed with rainbow quinoa) π = Dinner!
Here’s What You’ll Need:
2 lbs. Pork Chops
1 T. Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper, to taste
2 Pears, sliced thinly
Sauce Ingredients:
1/4 tsp. Cinnamon
2 T. Gluten Free Soy Sauce Β
1/3 C. Packed Brown Sugar
1 T. Cornstarch
1/3 C. Dry White Wine (like Chardonnay)
Brown the chops in hot oil over medium-high heat making sure to salt and pepper both sides.
Meanwhile, mix together the sauce ingredients. Β Whisk well making sure there are no lumps.
Lay the pear slices on top ofΒ the chops and pour the sauce evenly over everything. Β Cover and allow to cook for ten minutes. Β The sauce will thicken.
Serve over rice, gluten free pasta, or other gluten free grain and pour some of the thickened sauce over the top.
