Sweet and Savory Short Ribs

Short ribs are not necessarily the go-to rib but darn it if it ought to be!  Cooked and seasoned right, these ribs will be one dinner you won’t mind getting sticky over.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

3 lbs. of Short Ribs

1 C. Packed Brown Sugar

1/4 C. Honey

1-2 tsp. Salt, depending on your preference

1 (6 Ounce Can) Tomato Paste

1 Bottle of Gluten Free Beer (such as Redbridge Sorghum Beer which is delicious!)

In a large pot sear both sides of the ribs.  Add all of the remaining ingredients and stir.


Cover and cook for approximately 1 1/2 -2 hours over medium low heat or until the meat begins to fall off the bone.  It will look like the picture below.


Don’t want to babysit this dinner while it’s cooking?  You can pop these in the crockpot and cook them on low all day before watching your family fight over them.
