Cilantro & Lime Chicken Burgers

With summer grilling on the horizon and spring right around the corner, bump your regular burger to the next level.  Topped with a dollop of mayo, lettuce, and tomato, you may find yourself wishing you had made a double recipe!

Here’s What You Will Need:

1 1/2 Pounds Ground Chicken

1/2 tsp. Granulated Garlic (similar to garlic powder)

2 T. GF Worcestershire Sauce (Lea & Perrins makes one)

2 T. Chopped Green Onions

1/4 C. Fresh Cilantro, chopped

1 T. Fresh Lime Juice

1/4 tsp. Paprika

1/4-1/2 tsp. Salt (to your preference)

Gluten Free Hamburger Buns, reserved

Mayo, Lettuce, Tomatoes, and Pickles, reserved

Fire up the grill to high.  Meanwhile, in a large bowl, mix together everything except the reserved ingredients, and make even sized patties.

Lightly spray a sheet of foil with gluten free non-stick spray (like original Pam Spray) and head outside to the grill with the burgers!

Turn the heat down to medium, carefully place the foil directly on the grill, and place each patty on the lightly greased foil.

Cover the grill and cook each side for approximately 5 minutes before flipping (depending on the thickness of the patties and the variances in grilling temperatures).  While you want to make sure the burgers are cooked through, over-cooking will produce a dry hamburger.

Serve on toasted gluten free buns and top with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and mayo!
