Gluten Free Miracle Marinade

You don’t need to buy bottled sauces and marinades that may contain sneaky gluten.  This recipe is easy, delicious, and of course gluten free.  Use on fish, pork, beef, or chicken!

What You Will Need:

3 T. Olive Oil

1 1/2 tsp. Minced Garlic (one really big or two smaller cloves)

1/4  C. Lemon Juice

2 T. Dijon Mustard

3 T. Gluten Free Tamari or Bragg’s Amino Acids

1/4 tsp. Cracked Pepper (about 8 turns)

1/2 tsp. Dried Thyme

1/2 tsp. Dry Ginger Powder

1 C. Orange Juice

1/4 C. Packed Brown Sugar

Whisk together all of the ingredients.    IMG_5137

It makes about 1 3/4 Cup.

Use to marinate 3 pounds of meat or fish. As you can see, this time around I marinated steaks.

Place the meat or fish in a shallow baking dish (like the one pictured), pour the marinade evenly over it and cover.  Store in the refrigerator for at least an hour, best if overnight.  I marinated these little yummies overnight.

When ready to cook, discard the marinade and grill, bake or broil the meat or fish and serve!  I would show you the finished product but they got gobbled up.

Here’s a Tip:  Did you know you could mix up a double batch and store one batch (the marinade along with whatever protein you are wanting to use) in a large freezer zippy bag (gently squeeze out as much air as you can) and plunk it in the freezer for a future dinner?  Simply thaw it out and it’s ready to cook!
